Loaded Icarus Drop Through Deck

The Loaded Icarus is all about carving. Loaded have been making carve boards for quite a few years now, and you can see all of their accumulated knowledge in this, their latest creation.

Featuring a fibreglass, bamboo and cork construction, the Icarus is pressed into a pretty funky 3D concave shape for maximum wheel clearance, a variable flex pattern, and awesome foot feel.

Like its Sama, Dervish and Vanguard predecessors, the Loaded Icarus has a relatively long wheelbase for it's overall length. We like longer wheelbases here at Vandem, they just have a more soulful carving feeling compared to the shorter wheelbases on most of today's mini-cruisers and shorter longboards. As the trucks are close to the nose and tail, the Icarus is just about short and light enough to carry around when you're not skating it.

Although it's not the primary purpose of the Icarus, dancing, flips and shuvits are possible on this deck thanks to the small nose and tail kicks. As an all-round cruiser/carver/pumper, it's a very versatile deck.
