Orangatang Fat Free 65mm Longboard Wheels

The 65mm Orangatang Fat Free is the smaller of the original Orangatang "freeride" wheels - the larger being the 70mm Orangatang Stimulus.

Featuring a slightly offset core, narrower contact patch, stoneground running surface and rounded lips, the Fat Free was intended to be a smaller freeride version of the 4President Grip Wheel. It's poured from the same "Happy Urethane," which is fast and sugary - a lot of fun.

The Fat Free is available in three duros:

• 80A (Orange) - Maximum cushion for a slightly slower roll speed and less durability, we'd recommend the 80A if your local roads are a bit rougher. You won't find a plusher ride in any 65mm wheel than the 80A Fat Free!
• 83A (Purple) - A slightly smoother slide and faster roll speed, this is good if you have nice smooth surfaces nearby, but for freeride has been superseded by the Keanu. 
• 86A (Yellow) - A dedicated freeride duro, which to be honest is fairly limited in use. We can get them in for you - just get in touch if you want a set!

The Fat Free may not be Orangatang's premium freeride offering any more - but it is still a great smaller wheel, perfect if you are looking for a smooth ride on a smaller board that's prone to wheelbite.

65mm is a great size for a cruiser wheel - nice and light, fairly well supported and rolls over most things, and the premium Orangatang urethane represents a serious upgrade over the cheaper wheels that probably came on your cruiser board. The Fat Free may be an older shape - but it still have a place in the Orangatang wheels lineup and you should definitely check it out.
