Powell Peralta Dragon Formula Neil Blender 56mm Skateboard Wheels 88a
Gear up to get down. Just when you thought wheels couldn't get any better. Powell Dragon Formulas now exist in 88a and in collaboration with Neil Blender, a man without whom skateboarding would look and feel a whole lot different.
Rumour has it, once you try Dragons you'll never ride another street wheel again. Is it true? There's only one way to find out. And it's not Googling it.
The Dragon Formula is the result of a decade of George Powell's experiments with urethane to offer the holy grail: a soft wheel that slides like a hard wheel.
These Neil Blender Dragons are 88A in durometer - the softest Dragon formula in existence and yet more forgiving over tarmac or crusty skate spots. However, put 'em sideways and you'll know about it - they slide like a hot knife through butter.
At 56mm these will feel pretty small to anyone coming from a longboard or surfskate. However it is truly a sweet spot - small (and light) enough to really get the most out of your tail, big enough to soak up the worst of the crust.
I can't guarantee you'll skate like Neil if you ride these. However if there is even a 0.001% chance of that happening, I want to buy as many sets as I can afford and spend the next 20 years of my life doing NOTHING BUT SKATEBOARDING!
