Performance enhancing features

• Hyperspoon Concave
  • The most advanced concave Carver has come up with, and it comes on the boards that need it most - think this one, the Kai Lenny models, etc. Boards that are going to be properly thrown around!
  • A deeper dish for the front foot means you're glued in hard - no worries about losing the foot placement that's so important on a surfskate
  • Steeper tail in the back gives you that bit extra to push on to create drive out of turns, or to slide out of said turns
• Composite construction
  • The "Duro-Fusion" laminate is a high-density, impervious thermoplastic layer on the bottom of the board
  • Increases the pop of the board be it for your most radical carves or ollies
  • Increases deck strength to remove any torsional flex and extend it's life
• Outline
  • Wingers in the tail provide extra grip for your heel and toe for you to push... even harder!

Less performance enhancing but cool anyway

• The channels!
  • Check out the embossed channels on the underside of the deck
  • Designed to provide extra hold in steep sections, add drive and hold speed through turns... on a surfboard
  • No actual function that I can think of on this board but I love the attention to detail and they look epic combined with the laminate on the bottom!

After leading the surfskate truck market for decades, we are stoked to see Carver putting this much thought into their decks as well. The Black Tip is as good as it gets.
